HTML, HTM Β· Max 10 MB

A saved webpage is a thicket of markup, menus, and scripts wrapped around the content you actually want. This tool runs the same content extraction that powers our URL to PPT converter β€” stripping chrome, finding real headings and paragraphs β€” and writes the result as a clean, editable Word document.

How to use HTML to Word

  1. 1Save the webpage as an .html file (Ctrl+S in your browser) or use any HTML file you have.
  2. 2Drop it into the box above.
  3. 3Click Convert to Word.
  4. 4Download a .docx containing the page's title, headings, and content.

Frequently asked questions

Are images from the page included?

No β€” the conversion is text-focused: title, headings, and paragraph content. Images referenced by the HTML are not embedded.

Why is some page content missing?

Content rendered by JavaScript isn't in the HTML file itself, and short fragments (menus, buttons) are filtered as chrome. Server-rendered articles convert most completely.

Can I convert a live URL directly?

This tool takes files. For live pages, our URL to PPT tool fetches directly; a URL-to-Word variant is on the roadmap.

Is the full text kept or summarized?

Paragraphs longer than ~220 characters are trimmed at a sentence boundary to keep the document readable. For verbatim extraction of a document you authored, Word to TXT on the original is better.

Your files stay private

The HTML is parsed in memory, converted, and dropped after download. Page contents are never stored or logged.
