Sixteen photos or two β€” sharing them as one image beats a gallery dump. Frequently asked questions

How are photos with different shapes handled?

Each photo is center-cropped to fill its square tile ("cover" fit), which keeps the grid perfectly aligned. Wide panoramas lose their edges β€” crop them how you like first for full control.

How does the auto grid decide rows and columns?

It targets the squarest arrangement: columns = the square root of the photo count rounded up, rows as needed. Nine photos become 3Γ—3; five become 3Γ—2 with an open cell.

What's the output size?

Each tile is 600Γ—600 pixels plus your spacing β€” a 3Γ—3 grid with default spacing is about 1840Γ—1840, well above what social platforms need.

Can I use different tile sizes or freeform layouts?

Current layouts are uniform grid/strip/stack β€” the styles that always look tidy. Freeform and mixed-size layouts are on the roadmap.

Your files stay private

Your photos are composited in memory and discarded when the collage downloads. Nothing is stored, and EXIF data (including location) is stripped from the output.
