Does the tool work with password-protected PDFs?
No β we cannot decrypt a locked PDF. Remove the password in the original software (Acrobat, Preview, or a dedicated unlocker) and try again.
How large of a PDF can I extract?
Free users can extract PDFs up to 10 MB. Premium accepts up to 100 MB and processes with more available memory, so 200-page reports handle cleanly.
Do I get PNGs or JPGs?
Each page is exported as a single-page PDF by default so vector text and shapes stay sharp at any zoom. For raster PNG or JPG output, open a page in your PDF viewer and export from there.
Can I extract only specific pages?
The current version splits the whole document. To grab only certain pages, delete the ones you do not need in the source PDF before uploading β most PDF readers can do that in a few clicks.
Your files stay private
Your PDF is opened, split, and forgotten inside a single request. It is never persisted to disk or backed up. For signed-in users, only the page count is retained as a usage stat.
