How does heading detection work?
Lines of at most 70 characters with no ending punctuation and at most ten words become Heading 1 styles. Everything else is body text. It's deterministic β the same file always converts the same way.
Can I stop a line from becoming a heading?
End it with a period. Punctuation marks a line as a sentence, so it stays body text.
Does Markdown formatting convert?
Markdown syntax is treated as literal text. This tool is for plain prose; # and ** markers will appear as typed.
Will Google Docs open the result?
Yes β the output is standard .docx, which opens in Word, Google Docs, Pages, and LibreOffice.
