How to use Instagram Unfollowers Tracker

Is this safe? Other unfollower apps got accounts banned.
Yes β and that's the point. Apps get accounts banned because they log into Instagram on your behalf, which violates Instagram's terms. This tool never touches your account: it only reads the data export Instagram itself gave you. There is nothing to detect and nothing to ban.
How do I get my Instagram data export?
In the Instagram app or website: Settings β Accounts Center β Your information and permissions β Download your information. Choose "Some of your information", pick "Followers and following", and set the format to JSON. Instagram sends a download link to your email.
My export is in HTML format β will it work?
No β request it again with the format set to JSON. The HTML export is designed for reading in a browser, not for analysis, and Instagram lets you pick JSON on the same request screen.
Does this show who recently unfollowed me?
It shows the current state: everyone who doesn't follow you back right now. To track changes over time, download a fresh export every few weeks and compare β the lists reflect whatever moment the export was generated.
Is my follower data stored anywhere?
No. The file is parsed in memory, the lists are computed, the response is sent to your browser, and everything is discarded. Nothing is written to disk or logged.
