Bank statements, price lists, and reports arrive as PDFs, but the numbers in them need to live in a spreadsheet. This tool extracts each page's text, reconstructs rows and columns from its layout, and writes a genuine .xlsx workbook β€” with numeric cells stored as numbers, so SUM and AVERAGE work immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work on scanned PDFs?

No β€” this tool reads the text layer that already exists in the PDF. Scanned or image-only documents have no text layer and need OCR first.

How accurate is the column detection?

Columns are reconstructed from the spacing in the extracted text, which works well for cleanly-formatted tables (statements, invoices, listings). Dense or merged-cell layouts may need a quick tidy-up in Excel β€” but the data arrives typed and ordered, which is the slow part done.

Are the numbers usable in formulas?

Yes. Values that look numeric (integers and decimals) are written as native number cells rather than text, so SUM, AVERAGE, and pivot tables work straight away.

How does a multi-page PDF come out?

As a multi-sheet workbook: each PDF page becomes its own worksheet tab named "Page N", preserving where the data came from.

Your files stay private

The PDF's text is extracted in memory, written into a fresh workbook, and dropped as soon as the download is served. Statement figures and personal data are never stored or examined. Account history records byte counts, never cell contents.
