Are fonts embedded?
Standard fonts render with the PDF viewer's built-in font stack. If your document uses an unusual font and the substitution looks wrong, install the font locally and re-export from Word for perfect fidelity.
Does it handle .doc as well as .docx?
Yes. Legacy .doc files from older versions of Word are accepted, along with .docx (Word 2007+) and plain .txt.
What happens to images and tables?
Text-heavy documents convert with high fidelity. Tables and inline images render but may reflow slightly on very complex layouts β check the output before sending.
Can I edit the PDF after converting?
PDFs are meant to be fixed. Keep the source .docx around for edits; PDF is best for the shipping step at the end.
