Will this add detail like AI upscalers do?
No — and that's deliberate. Classical interpolation enlarges what exists; AI upscalers synthesize plausible detail, which can be great for art and dangerous for documents or evidence. For faithful enlargement, Lanczos plus sharpening is the honest choice.
What's the maximum output size?
64 megapixels (8000×8000). The tool tells you if your factor would exceed that so you can pick a smaller one.
Which factor should I use?
2× covers most needs and looks best. 4× works well on sharp source images; heavily compressed sources will show their artifacts enlarged too.
Does it help blurry photos?
Enlargement can't recover focus that was never captured. It makes sharp-but-small images bigger; it doesn't repair motion blur or missed focus.
