Their text content is extracted in reading order; the table grid and list numbering themselves are formatting, which plain text can't represent.
Does it handle non-English documents?
Yes β output is UTF-8, so Cyrillic, CJK, Arabic, and accented text extract correctly.
What about headers, footers, and comments?
Only the main document body is extracted. Headers, footers, footnotes, and comments are skipped by design.
