Is each document's formatting preserved?
The merge is text-focused: content arrives as clean paragraphs under each section heading, ready for one consistent style set. Original per-file fonts and colors are not carried over β which is usually what a merged document wants anyway.
What order do the documents appear in?
Exactly the order in the reorderable list when you click Merge.
Are images and tables included?
Text content only. Table text arrives in reading order; images need re-inserting in the merged file.
Can I remove the automatic section headings?
They're standard Heading 1 paragraphs β delete or restyle them in Word like any other text.
Your files stay private
All documents are processed in memory and discarded once the merged file downloads. Contents are never stored; history for signed-in users records byte totals only.
